That time of year

Canopy,  please,  say it three times
And walk on under sky high trees,

Continuing a bare narrative music
As if bare and bald bard’s sonnet.

Canopy ,we say it three times bald,
A bare ruined choir ,of birds gone.

We wear a stoic’s transience toga.
Our any time is that time of year.

(Referring to William Shakespeare’s Sonnet 73)
